The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen is a magical book, and a quick read. I just loved it and think Allen as grown quite a bit since her debut, Garden Spells. If you like Garden Spells, you will absolutely love The Girl Who Chased the Moon, I promise. The story takes place in Mullaby, North Carolina, a town where there are rooms in which the wallpaper changes to suit your mood, unexplained lights skip across the yard at midnight and a neighbor bakes hope in the form of cakes. This would be a perfect Mother's Day gift, for your mother, or for you!
